ABOUT ME
Hello!
I'm Yelim Kim and I am a videographer and interdisciplinary artist, based in Chicago. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Art and concentration in Electronic and Time-based Media.
I'm grateful for the experiences and connections I've made with Nordstrom, Jamaican Mango & Lime, Salon Pro, Van Der Hagen, and so many other brands, and I'm excited to see what will be next in my career!
While I am primarily a videographer, in my personal art practice, I range from video art to sculpture and installation,
I focus on topics that embrace identity by recreating or documenting moments from marginalized experiences, and am drawn towards interactive and participatory work that bring people together through unusual circumstances.
